Jasmine & Brendan live in California with gorgeous baby Alistair who was 4 months old at the time of their wedding. They decided on a wedding in the Highlands due to Brendan’s connections with Scotland, Brendan’s mum was Scottish and unfortunately had passed away a few years previous – so this was in a way to honour her memory. Jasmine contacted me 6 weeks prior to their wedding day in a bit of a panic – they had managed to book the venues and most of the vendors, but everything needed pulled together, the final details put in place and the logistics all worked out.
I worked with them on putting a timeline in place for the day and helped with finalising the menu and entertainment for the evening, I was there on the day to co-ordinate everything and ensure it all ran smoothly. I also organised a cruise down Loch Ness the day before the wedding and a charcuterie buffet with welcome drinks for them and their guests. The day of the wedding was a fun time with lots of people gathered in the castle apartments for the bridal preparations – there was definitely a party vibe the whole day!
Jasmine has Persian heritage and this shone through with lots of lovely touches throughout the day – there was also a Persian Table set up for the blessing which had some beautiful and very intricate elements. The Persian knife dance was also very entertaining and definitely a highlight!! Brendan and Jasmine thought of absolutely everything for their day, not only was it so important for them to have such an unforgettable wedding but they also wanted to ensure their guests had the best experience and they certainly achieved that – I loved working on this one and the Persian details made it so special and unique!
