Having grown up here I have a deep love and understanding of the Highlands – sharing with you the best venues, vendors and secret spots!
I’ve been involved with weddings and events for over 20 years – EEK!! I started my events career working in large Inverness hotels, until I met my husband Finlay in 2009 and moved my life to Kyle of Lochalsh. I missed the buzz of working in events and realised that with the Isle of Skye and Eilean Donan Castle on our doorstep it would be the perfect location to start up my own business and I launched Highland Weddings in 2014 – never looking back!
Over the years I have been so lucky to work with so many wonderful couples, every couple is unique and therefore so is every wedding. I listen, adapt and create a day that is true to your vision which includes the real spirit of the Highlands, by weaving in Traditions, Gaelic Culture, Melodic Music and the breath taking landscapes into each wedding experience.
I bring a quiet grace, diffusing any worries you may have by providing steady, confident guidance and making you feel truly valued.
I’ll become your favourite Highland Host handling every detail for you with a warm, welcoming approach – creating an unforgettable, stress-free wedding experience for you and your guests.
In my spare time (I’m trying to get better at the work/life balance thing) if I’m not up a hill or exploring new paths then you’ll find me spending quality time with friends & family – We are incredibly fortunate to have been blessed with two wonderful boys, Finn and Bobby. True to their spirited nature, they fill our lives with so much fun, mischief (mostly) and laughter!
My Loves are…. Family, Friends, Sunshine, fish & chips on the beach and Harris Gin – in that order!”
