Carden & Mikayla travelled all the way from Virginia with family and friends to have their fairy tale castle wedding. Mikayla reached out to me 5 months prior to their special day as they were having problems communicating with some vendors and hadn’t secured somewhere for their reception. I’m so glad they got in touch as they were the sweetest couple to work with and I helped them put all the logistics in place for their day, I liaised with the vendors, confirmed a timeline and secured all the details for their reception. Carden & Mikayla chose Abby Bostian photography who travelled with them all the way from the US for their photographs and I can see why – her work is incredible! The couple joined Abby and her team on Skye the day prior to their wedding for a photoshoot at the Quiraing – one of the most iconic locations on Skye with amazing landscape which makes the perfect backdrop for photographs!
My favourite moments from their day were Mikayla’s first look with her brothers and her dad – a very emotional time, and also during their ceremony which they had in the courtyard of Eilean Donan Castle there was the most amazing sunset! It blew everyone away!
