When? : April 2018
A Cockney lad who fell for a beautiful Scottish Lass… Matt and Rebecca’s location was the ‘Sound of Sleat’ known as the Garden of Skye as it is so green and picturesque. The couple wanted a full weekend of celebrations for all their guests and they certainly know how to throw a party!
The ceremony was held in Talla Duisdale – which is a beautiful rustic old church with the most amazing round window. The Capella String Quartet played ‘Highland Cathedral’ with piper Crisdean MacDonald as the bridal party entered and it set the tone for the day – Classy, Tasteful and Ooozing Romance.
Every little detail had been carefully thought out and lots of sentimental touches were evident throughout the day – Rebecca’s amazing bouquet was a replica of her late Nan’s, this really was Donald at Loch Duich Flowers’ work at its best.
The rest of the celebrations took place at An Crubh – which was the perfect venue for the large number of guests. The venue allowed the couple to spoil their guests – cocktails, canapés, a formal meal and then dancing the night away.
They weren’t finished there! The next day was an informal gathering at Eilean Iarmain where they enjoyed a BBQ, Buffet, local musicians and most importantly time to reflect and also make more memories!
